Campbell_High_School01The neighborhood of San Tomas, located in Campbell CA, extends from the San Tomas Expressway to the east to just past the Norman Y Mineta Highway to the west, its western corner formed by San Tomas Aquinas Creek and Pollard Road. Pollard, West Parr Avenue and Winchester Boulevard form its southern and southeastern edges, while its northern border is most prominently created by the San Tomas Aquinas Creek once again.

Most of the homes in San Tomas were built between 1940 and 1999. Only 1.3% of these homes are vacant, lower than nearly 95% of neighborhoods in the country. When homes do become available in San Tomas, they are snatched up quickly by eager buyers. These homes also appreciate in value very quickly due to this demand. Residents of San Tomas are relatively wealthy, the neighborhood perfectly suited for executives and those interested in a sophisticated, urban atmosphere.

Popular restaurants in the area include the Sorelle Italian Bistro, Yeung Shing Restaurant, Aldo’s Ristorante & Bar, and Effie’s Restaurant & Bar. A short walk from Winchester Boulevard is Los Gatos Creek and the Los Gatos Creek County Park. Residents of San Tomas can fish, hike or simply stroll. A dog park is even included in this 80-acre expanse of land; San Tomas residents also get to skip the six-dollar parking fee because they can walk.
